3. Click on “Shipping”
Afterwards, click on the Shipping tab at the top of the page.
4. Click on Shipping Classes

5.1 Shipping Class Name
To add the name of the shipping class, please select the Shipping Class Name input field and input the name you desire for the shipping class.
5.2 The Slug
Next up is the slug. A slug is a URL-friendly version of the name. It is used in the product link ( that long string of text at the top of your browser window when you visit the website ). We suggest to just put in the name in all lowercase and use hyphens instead of spaces.
5.3 The Description
This field is used to describe your class. In this case we would say: “Products that have to be handled with care”.
6. Add Shipping Class
To complete the addition of your new class, simply click on the Add shipping class button on the right.
7. Save your shipping classes
Once you are done adding all the classes you want to add, just press Save shipping classes. This button is located on the left side of the page.
Congratulations! You can now create a shipping class all on your own!
