WooCommerce Orders

1. Click on WooCommerce

To being with, click on the ‘WooCommerce’ tab on the left side of the page.

2. The Orders

Welcome to the orders page. Here you can see all the orders placed on your website including the name of the client, the date, status, total cost and order type.Next, click on the client’s name.

3. Edit Order Page

This is the Edit Order page. Here you can see everything about the client’s order, including the date and time it was created, its status, the customer, their billing and shipping, email, phone and the products they have ordered.

4. Order Status

The status is probably one of the few things you are really here for. If you click on the select you have a variety of options to choose from. One of those is “On hold”. This is useful if, for example, the client has contacted you and they have changed their mind or want to change their order.

4.1 Other options

You can also change the status to “Pending payment”, “Processing”, “Completed”, “Cancelled” and “Refunded”.

5. Refunds

If your customer wants a refund, you can refund them with the gray button “Refund”, located at the bottom of the page.

6. Adding notes

You also have the flexibility of adding notes to orders.

6.1 Automatic Notes

Every time the order is updated an automatic note is created. It shows what was updated for future reference.

7. ‘Choose an action’ select

You can update the order without selecting an action.You have a choice between three actions:-Email invoice / order details to customer-Resend New Order Confirmation (useful if you have updated the order)-Regenerate Download Permissions (more on downloadable products here).

8. Click ‘Update’

Make sure to update the order once you are done!
