The Project Brief

Tern Heads approached Design Box as a start-up business with an ambition to connect students, graduates, educators and employers through an online membership portal. Tern Heads required a feature-rich community membership website that would allow students to find internships, opportunities, gain experience and collaborate with industry professionals before venturing out into their future careers.

The Process

We had to carefully scope out each user journey along with all of the features that were required for TernHeads to be a success. Upon the build of the website we put together a marketing strategy that built awareness, gained social followers and an email list so that upon the launch of the site we had an audience to promote to. This was a heavily involved project so we scoped out each feature to launch in stages so that the website could go live and grow in interest within the creative industry.

The Outcome

It has been fantastic to watch Tern Heads Grow after the initial launch of the membership website. Tern Heads has gained considerable traction in the creative industry and is now well recognised within the community and reputable bodies across the UK. We've seen steady growth in their website visitor activity and social media followers who have expressed some phenomenal feedback on the website along the way. Our online marketing services continue to play a significant role in increasing their brand awareness and we continue to work closely in partnership with Tern Heads to achieve their objectives.
